Programs & Services Overview
East House empowers individuals with mental health and substance use disorders to recover and to live healthy and fulfilling lives.
Founded in 1966, with the belief that safe, quality housing is necessary for healing and recovery. East House provides a wide-array of support housing and recovery support services in Monroe County. More than 1,250 individuals and their families benefit each year from East House, a majority living below the federal poverty level. East House employs more than 225 staff who are recovery-oriented and take a person-centered approach to treatment.
East House’s programs and services incorporate the eight dimensions of wellness throughout the wide array of services offered.
We continue to recognize each dimension of wellness in all of our programs and services. These dimensions include, environment, financial, intellectual, occupational, physical, spiritual, social and emotional.
