Employees Honored at Luncheon Celebration

Annual Meeting; Celebrating Paul Wolk Bequest was held June 8th, at Locust Hill Country Club.  Board members, administrative staff and special guests celebrated a recent gift of $434,000 from the estate of the late Paul Wolk, one of our founders.  Sheila Wolk, widow of Paul Wolk, visited from Hume, Virginia, along with Wolk’s son-in-law Ron Tokash. Wolk’s daughter, Judy, her husband, Harold Samloff, and nephew Marvin Wolk, also attended the event. Tokash shared some memories of Paul Wolk.  During the luncheon, Greg Soehner, shared recent agency successes and plans for the gift and the future. He presented Sheila Wolk with a gift of a glass-etching of the agency’s first group home. In addition, two couples and two individuals who have also made a planned gift to the agency, were honored: Art and Barbara Hirst, William and Cynthia Hosley, Heather Keys, and Douglas Burkhardt. The Board of Directors also elected three new members: Andrew Dollinger, Heather Keys, and Donald Zrebiec.

Hope Bench at Twelve Corners Five employees of East House came together to create one beautiful "hope" bench reflecting the agency's history serving clients in the Rochester area.
