Inpatient and outpatient treatment providers refer
individuals to East House residential programs. A completed referral
form with a client history is necessary to begin the formal process,
however, a phone consultation is often a very helpful first step. Clients referred are evaluated in local treatment centers, our
administrative office or in one of our community residences.
After a screening interview, a visit to one of our community
residences is arranged so that the individual can meet with clients and
counselors and tour the residence. Following the visit, individuals who
meet the admission criteria and express an interest are accepted and
scheduled for admission.
Individuals who are interested in the Crossroads (chemical
dependency) Program must be alcohol and drug free upon admission. In
addition, arrangements for outpatient treatment and financial payment
from Medicaid, social security, county public assistance, private
insurance or self pay must be confirmed prior to admission. East House
financial case managers are available to assist individuals in applying
for financial assistance and Medicaid.
